Ramzy Ayachi, Lead Hypnotist and Director of Training at Nova Hypnosis & Wellness, is a Board Certified Hypnotist, Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Certified Trainer for Hypnosis and NLP, and a Certified Health Coach.
A 20-year Marine Combat Veteran and former CH-53 pilot, Ramzy leverages his decades’ long military training and experience to help others achieve their personal best, both mentally and physically, through a combination of hypnosis and performance coaching.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Ocean Engineering, Ramzy was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and U.S. Marine Officer immediately upon graduation from the academy. He also completed Naval Aviation Training, earning his Naval Aviation Wings and was assigned to fly the US Marine Corps, CH-53E Assault Support Helicopter. Here he observed various teaching, mentorship, and leadership styles, taking the best of what he learned to craft his own unique and highly effective style of leadership and coaching, which has allowed him to take his persuasion mastery skills to new levels. For example, for three straight years, having no assets other than his personal determination and persuasion skills at his disposal, he acquired costly aviation assets from across the Department of Defense (DoD) for an entirely unfunded—but critically important—training course for Special Aviation Operators. One his most satisfying career achievements, Ramzy now teaches others how to harness the same determination and persuasiveness in their own lives and careers.
Utilizing his distinctive positive coaching methods, he has also proven himself a formidable trainer and evaluator in high-stakes environments like teaching complicated skill sets involving airstrike coordination and dynamic flight instruction, and as a sympathetic coach leading, inspiring, and mentoring Marines, in peacetime and combat. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an innate understanding and value of the human capital element, and he uses this intuitive knowledge to help others learn how to leverage their own inner strength and worth to achieve the best version of themselves.
“I am often asked how I got involved in hypnosis and NLP. The question always make me smile. I love this stuff! I jumped feet first into this new direction for several reasons, one was to lose weight—I was busting out of my uniforms and the Marines don’t take kindly to being fat—and the other reason was to break-out of the mental prison of making decisions based on fear and trying to conform to others’ standards: Will I have enough? Maybe I should wait. I’ll start enjoying my life when I retire. I’ll take this safer more predictable route . . . and other narratives which had been imprinted over the years and through various events. After multiple combat deployments, I realized how short life is and I desired the courage to spend the next phase of my life doing exactly what I wanted, instead of being guided by financial or emotional fears. I have come to realize that these feelings of fear and self-doubt are all too commonplace. Hypnosis unleashed the courage within me to live my life on my terms and now I am getting to help others find their inner courage.” – Ramzy Ayachi
Ramzy’s exceptional abilities as a hypnotist, coach and trainer have allowed him to help hundreds of clients achieve positive, lasting change in in their personal and professional lives. He feels strongly that he has an inherent responsibility to leave behind a better more capable environment, team, or individual and that passion is evident in all of his pursuits. To help his clients and those he trains realize the results they want to achieve he asks that they consider the seemingly simple question: “what needs do I have?” Ramzy uses this exercise to help people understand that we all have very common needs and that clarifying our needs will increase our chances of success while also improving our communication with ourselves and others.
When Ramzy is not focused on helping others impact their lives with positive changes, you can find him spending time with his incredible son and wife, snowboarding, dirt bike riding, hiking, traveling, and actively giving back to the McLean community and to Marine Corps and other Veterans’ organizations.

Monica is outgoing, experimental, and an out-of-the-box thinker who often ignores the box altogether and is likely to provide you with unorthodox perspectives and ideas.
Monica intuitively understands the ideas and feelings of others and inspires her clients to become involved advocates in their own change process. She will use hypnosis and NLP to strategically persuade you and inspire you to embrace opportunities for change and explore changing the game in addition to changing your thinking. Never boring, always experimenting, Monica will captivate your imagination and guide you to discover new ways to solve old problems, and maybe even change the rules of your life entirely.
Monica is a military veteran with over a decade as an active duty Marine AV-8B Harrier jet pilot. She has served overseas and has had the distinct pleasure of working in the Pentagon for her last duty assignment. In fact, she still serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, in addition to founding and running the change space called NoVA Hypnosis and Wellness.
Monica started this hypnosis practice because she believes everything starts with the mind. It doesn’t matter what it is; for example, the efficacy of medications can be improved by focusing the mind on amplifying the medicine’s beneficial effects and minimizing its side effects. Originally on track to go to medical school after leaving active duty, Monica decided to remain a hypnotist after seeing how many people were able to overcome their mental, emotional and even some physical problems, with the assistance of guided hypnosis.
Monica is a graduate of Cornell University and enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving and spending time with her husband, son and three Siberian Huskies.
